Abstract

In general, the process of managing configuration consistency is regarded as a set of problem¬solving methods which could work without • concerning product structures. Nonetheless, product configuration in engineering has its essential needs of product structures for describing an artefact or product model. In order to fully support configuration management for the product configuration, there is a need to integrate product structures with maintenance approaches. This paper is a contribution to the integration of appropriate product structures with an effective maintenance approach.
